SAP Concur Changes for Marriott Rewards and SPG Accounts

If you have a linked account to SAP Concur, you will experience disruptions to reservations booked through our sites through the end of 2018. Please follow the applicable steps below to ensure your bookings and expenses continue to flow into SAP Concur.

 

Please note: All SAP Concur users with SPG and/or Marriott Rewards accounts will experience interruption in SAP Concur’s itinerary and e-receipt syncing service through the end of 2018 when sending legacy SPG hotel reservations to SAP Concur. Members can continue to book, earn and redeem points across all 29 brands. Legacy SPG hotels include: St Regis, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, Westin, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Tribute Portfolio, Design Hotels, Aloft, Four Points, and Element.

Please review the steps you need to take based on the Loyalty program numbers you have in your SAP Concur profile. This will apply to Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) and/or Marriott Rewards (MR) members.

SPG NUMBER IN SAP CONCUR?

If you are a Starwood Preferred Guest member and do not have a Marriott Rewards numbers in your SAP Concur account, please first delete your existing Starwood (All) (SW) Preferred Guest loyalty number from your Concur profile to avoid connection issues. Then please log in to your SAP Concur account to update your SPG membership number in the new “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” field in your  SAP Concur Travel Profile Open in a different browser tab . If you are enrolled in My Travel Network, you will receive an email from SAP Concur confirming your account connection.

MARRIOTT REWARDS NUMBER IN SAP CONCUR?

You’re all set. No changes or updates are needed in the ‘Frequent Traveler Programs’ section of your SAP Concur Profile.

BOTH SPG AND MARRIOTT REWARDS NUMBERS IN SAP CONCUR?

Please first delete your existing Starwood (All) (SW) Preferred Guest loyalty number from your Concur profile. Then, you may use your Marriott Rewards number to book across all 29 brands or update your new SPG number in the new “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” field in your SAP Concur Travel ProfileOpen in a different browser tab.. Please note that you can only use one loyalty number in the Marriott Loyalty number field: either your Marriott Rewards number or your new SPG number. If you are enrolled in My Travel Network, you will receive an email from SAP Concur confirming your SPG account connection.

WHY ISN’T MY BOOKING IN MY ITINERARY OR TRIPIT PRO?

As legacy SPG hotels transition to Marriott systems, there will be disruptions in transferring legacy SPG hotel bookings to SAP Concur through the end of 2018.

To add your booking to your travel itinerary, ensure you have validated all email addresses used to send travel plans to SAP Concur. You can validate up to five email addresses in your SAP Concur ProfileOpen in a different browser tab by following this path: SAP Concur Travel Profile > Profile Setting > Email Addresses.

WHY CAN’T I FIND THE SPG TILE IN THE SAP CONCUR APP CENTER?

Starting in August, Marriott Rewards and the Starwood Preferred Guest program will unite as one powerful program. However, individual program names will remain until 2019.

Look for the newly combined “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” App listing in SAP Concur. If you do not appear as “connected”, or have space to enter your loyalty number, please add either your Marriott Rewards or new Starwood Preferred Guest member number and click “connect”. You will receive an email confirming your account connection.

WHY IS THE SPG PROGRAM STILL LISTED IN MY SAP CONCUR PROFILE?

The Starwood (All) (SW) Preferred Guest field will no longer be operational starting August 30th, it is important to delete the “Starwood (All) (SW) Preferred Guest” loyalty number from your Concur profile and enter your new SPG number into the “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” loyalty field. Automatic removal of the remaining Starwood loyalty field is expected in December 2018.

WHY ISN’T MY LOYALTY NUMBER ATTACHED TO MY RESERVATION MADE ON CONCUR TRAVEL?

Please check you have input either your Marriott Rewards number or *new* SPG number into the “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” field in your SAP Concur Travel Profile. This is the number that will be attached to your Concur Travel reservations.

WHY ISN’T MY SPG LOYALTY NUMBER IN MY SAP CONCUR PROFILE?

Please check you have input either your Marriott Rewards number or *new* SPG number into the “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” field in your SAP Concur Travel ProfileOpen in a different browser tab.. DO I NEED TO UPDATE ANY NUMBERS IN THE NEW MARRIOTT LOYALTY FREQUENT TRAVELER FIELD IN SAP CONCUR?

If your Marriott Rewards number is listed in the Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” frequent traveler field in your SAP Concur Travel Profile, you will not need to take any action. If there is no number in the field, please add either your Marriott Rewards or new SPG member number. You will receive an email confirming your account connection. If your number is listed as Marriott (MC); Sheraton (SI); W Hotels (WH); Westin (WI) it is recommended that you delete those entry fields and add your Marriott Rewards or new SPG member number to the “Marriott (All) (EM) Marriott Rewards / Starwood Preferred Guest” loyalty field.

WHY CAN’T I SEE MY SET #/CORPORATE DISCOUNT CODE IN MY SPG PROFILE ON SPG.COM?

Your new SPG profile does not have a field for your SET number/Corporate Discount Code. If you go to our website to book your travel and you do not see your Corporate Discount Code applied, please add it manually under Special Rates.

HOW CAN I ADD A BOOKING TO MY ITINERARY IN SAP CONCUR?

Please first delete your existing Starwood (All) (SW) Preferred Guest loyalty number from your Concur profile to avoid connection issues. WHY DON’T I SEE MY STARWOOD ERECEIPT FOR MY HOTEL STAY IN SAP CONCUR EXPENSE?

Your final hotel folio can be emailed to SAP Concur Expense by validating up to five email addressesOpen in a different browser tab. in your SAP Concur Travel Profile > Profile Setting > Email AddressesOpen in a different browser tab.. I COMBINED MY MARRIOTT REWARDS AND SPG ACCOUNTS. WHY AM I NO LONGER CONNECTED TO SAP CONCUR?

In SAP ConcurOpen in a different browser tab, your Marriott Loyalty member number should match the profile of your combined account. For example, if your Marriott Loyalty member number listed in SAP Concur is your Marriott Rewards member number and your combined profile is SPG, please use your SPG member number in SAP Concur.
